In August of 1997, Spirtas joined the cast of "Days of Our Lives" as Dr. Craig Wesley, for a two day role. In February of 1998, he returned as the same character, for a 3-year-contract.
No stranger to the world of soap opera, before joining the cast of "Days", Kevin starred as Hollywood agent 'Tim Burke' in the syndicated mini-soap opera, "Valley of the Dolls", based on the novel by Jaqueline Susann's, and 'Tom Gallagher' in the late night series "Rituals".
Originally from St. Louis Missouri, at 16, Spirtas began honing his singing and dancing skills while working at the theme park, Six Flags Over Mid America, where at 17, he won the "Stairway to Stardom" contest and appeared on the Dinah Shore show. At 18, after attending one semester of college at Southern Methodist University, in Dallas Texas, Spirtas headed to New York, (then using the stage name Kevin Blair) and just three months later landed his first professional job on Broadway, as the role of Mike (I Can Do That) Costa, in A CHORUS LINE. Spirtas has also appeared on Broadway as the role Warren Sheffield in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS.
Spirtas has guest starred on numerous television shows including L.A. HEAT, FIRED UP, SILK STALKINGS, and QUANTUM LEAP. In 1996 Spirtas received a Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award (Best Actor) for the role of 'Nick Brenner' in Chuck Ranberg's critically acclaimed comedy, END OF THE WORLD PARTY.
Spirtas has also starred in the films, EMBRACE THE DARKNESS, STRIKING RESEMBLANCE, GREEN PLAID SHIRT, and is featured with Sir Ian McKellen and Brad Renfro in Bryan Singer's upcoming film, APT PUPIL. Spirtas is also featured with Olympia Dukakis in the movie made for television, A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. You may also remember Spirtas from those fantastic cult classic slasher sequels: Wes Craven's, THE HILLS HAVE EYES II, FRIDAY the 13th VII: THE NEW BLOOD, SUBSPECIES II: THE BLOODSTONE, & SUBSPECIES III: BLOODLUST.
Spirtas sure has conquered Hollywood! Besides acting, Spirtas loves staying active by running, swimming, snowboarding, and jet skiing. His birthday is July 29. (Spirtas's parents, Arnold and Sandra, older brother, Joel and younger brother, Eric all reside in St. Louis MO.)

Leos are impossible to miss, since they love being center stage. Making an impression is Job One for Leos, and when you consider their personal magnetism, you see the job is quite easy. Leos are an ambitious lot, and their strength of purpose allows them to accomplish a great deal. The fact that these folks are also creative makes their endeavors fun for them and everyone else. It's quite common to see a Leo on stage or in Hollywood, since they never shy away from the limelight. They are also supremely talented and have a flair for the dramatic. Warmth and enthusiasm seems to seep from every Leo pore, making them a pleasure to be around. They do love pleasure!
